About

I am a native San Diegan who moved to Austin in 2005. I started painting when living in London in 1986 and began showing my art in galleries after moving to San Francisco in 1987. Although my initial college degree is in mathematics, I also took art classes at San Francisco State University.

I’ve had gallery shows in acrylic painting, printmaking, polymer clay, lampworked glass jewelry and digital art. I spent many years trying to restrict myself to a single medium only to break away again and again to try something different. I believe I’ll always be exploring new ideas in my art and the only accurate title I can give myself is mixed-media artist.

Most recently, my art was in the book Artist Trading Cards and in the Gallery Edition of Somerset Studio.I will also be in the 2006 Christmas issue of Somerset Studio.
